Remembrance
We were honoured to welcome Major Wilson to Oakbridge Primary School for a special talk about Remembrance Day. The children listened attentively and showed great respect throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and engaging in meaningful discussion. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to learn about the importance of remembrance and to reflect on the sacrifices made by others. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Major Wilson for sharing his time and experiences with us.
Aquatic Finatic
What an Amazing Visit!
Our Year One children had a fantastic experience when Aquatic Finatic visited the school as part pf our Science Topic – Animals – including Humans (All About Animals). They brought along an incredible range of animals, including snakes, a tortoise, lizards, a chinchilla, a rabbit, guinea pigs, and even a rat! The children were thrilled to handle these creatures and learn fascinating facts about each one. It was a wonderful hands-on opportunity that sparked curiosity and excitement about the animal world.
