There is no specific catchment area for Oakbridge and we welcome applications from all families.
Most children join us in our Reception Class in the academic year in which they turn five. Our usual intake is 30 children.
Dales Academies Trust serves as the admission authority for the academy, overseeing the determination of its admission arrangements. The Trust has determined that all admissions will be coordinated through the Local Authority’s admission system.
Therefore, applications for places at Oakbridge CofE Primary School must comply with the statutory Admission Code and be submitted using the Common Application Form provided and managed by the Local Authority on behalf of the school.
The Authority has established coordinated admission schemes as required by law for the upcoming academic year. This process involves parents completing the Common Application Form to express their preferences, while the Authority liaises with schools and other local authorities on their behalf.
The Local Authority will notify parents of the outcome of their application, including reasons for any refusals and information on the appeals process if a place at their preferred schools is denied.
On the national offer day, the Local Authority will communicate the results of individual applications to parents on our behalf.

Parents of children under four are asked to register their children with the school as soon as possible so that future school numbers can be calculated at an early date.
Transition events will be organised in the summer term to ensure children are settled when they join school full time in September. For children with Special Educational Needs or disabilities, a programme of induction will be tailored to suit the needs of each individual child.
